ClassTempo helps students organize their own school assignments into a realistic study plan. It is published by Bennico.

Age eligibility

ClassTempo is intended only for users who are at least 13 years old. First run requires confirmation that the user is 13 or older. ClassTempo does not request or store a birthdate. Users under 13 may not use this version.

Information ClassTempo handles

If you choose to connect Google Classroom, ClassTempo reads your active course names, coursework details, due dates, point values, links, and your own submission status. It also handles activities, preferences, manual tasks, and study-session completion that you enter.

Use and storage

This information is used only to display assignments and create your study plan. It is stored locally in Chrome storage on your device. This version has no ClassTempo account database, advertising, analytics SDK, or generative-AI data transfer. Information is sent only to Google over HTTPS for authorized Classroom API requests.

Sharing and sale

ClassTempo does not receive, sell, rent, or share your Classroom or planner information. It is not used for advertising, credit or eligibility decisions, behavioral profiling outside ClassTempo, or training general-purpose AI models.

Permissions

ClassTempo requests read-only access to your active Classroom courses, coursework, and your own submission state. Chrome permissions support local storage, Google sign-in, periodic synchronization, and optional reminders. It does not request email, Google Drive files, browsing history, location, camera, or microphone.

Control and retention

Information remains in Chrome storage until you delete it in ClassTempo Settings, clear the extension’s storage, or uninstall the extension. You can export a JSON copy and delete all locally stored ClassTempo information from Settings.

Security

ClassTempo uses Google APIs over encrypted HTTPS connections. The security of locally stored information also depends on the security of your device and Google/Chrome account. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

Google API Limited Use

ClassTempo’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
